What Spellito adds

What you get with Spellito

Send one checked list

Add words and sentences once, check them, then publish to the class or one pupil without printing and cutting out individual word lists.

Confirm the right families

A child appears only after a parent requests your exact registered class and a class teacher confirms the link.

Spot the useful patterns

Use the private progress dashboard for accuracy, active answer time, rankings, tricky words and curriculum mastery instead of collecting the picture manually.

How it works

Free setup first. Pay only when it replaces real admin.

  1. 1

    Claim your official school

Choose the school from the Department for Education register and add the class label families already know.

  2. 2

    Share one private invitation

A parent sees the official school, class and registered teacher names before choosing one of their own child profiles.

  3. 3

Confirm the minimum roster for free

Only confirmed pupils enter the roster. The free teacher account shows the minimum identity needed to manage those private links.

  4. 4

Send one list and see class progress

Class Licence is £59 per class per year for up to 30 confirmed pupils. It gives 12 months of weekly sets, individual assignments, private pupil progress and class rankings. No automatic renewal; pay again only if you choose another year. Children still have free basic ten-word practice, and Family Pass remains a separate home product.

Questions about Spellito

What is free for teachers, and what does a Class Licence add?

Teachers can create one free class identity, share invitations, confirm parent requests and see the minimum roster. Class Licence is £59 per class per year for up to 30 confirmed pupils, adding weekly spelling sets, private pupil progress and class rankings for 12 months. For a larger class, get in touch to agree its pupil allowance. It has no automatic renewal. Children can still use basic ten-word practice for free.

Can a teacher send different spelling lists to individual pupils?

Yes. A teacher can send one word-and-sentence set to the whole confirmed class or assign a separate set to one confirmed pupil.

Which children can a teacher see in Spellito?

Teachers see the minimum details needed to review a parent-authorised pending request for their exact registered class. Learning progress becomes available only after a teacher confirms the link and the class has an active Class Licence. Other classes and schools are not browsable.

Does Spellito save a child's typed spelling answer?

No. Spellito uses what the child types for immediate feedback, then discards the literal answer. Confirmed teachers receive limited aggregates such as accuracy, active answer time and tricky-word totals.
