With Family Pass, enter your child’s home spellings, choose a buddy and use hints when a word is difficult. Released SATs spelling practice is included.

Family Pass gives each of up to five children their own profile and year group. Saved progress is available when you sign in on another phone, tablet or computer.

How it works
Start with a free practice session.

Choose a year group
Pick Reception to Year 6 and try ten words. You can do another session whenever you like, with no child name or account needed.

Add Family Pass if it’s useful
Buy an activation code without signing in. We email it to the address used at Stripe checkout. Then sign in or create a grown-up account to activate it for your family. We ask for your consent before saving a child’s profile.

Renew only if you choose
Family Pass lasts 12 months from activation. You choose whether to buy another year; there is no automatic renewal or further charge without that choice.
Questions about Spellito
Does my child need a Spellito account to practise?
No. Ordinary ten-word curriculum practice is free, with unlimited sessions and no child name or account needed. A free adult account includes one ordinary child profile and lets you manage consent and class links. Family Pass supports up to five separate child profiles under your account.
Do I have to pay for Spellito?
No. You can complete unlimited free ten-word curriculum sessions. Family Pass is optional: £9 per family per year for up to five children. It adds parent-entered home lists, buddies, hints, private progress, released SATs spelling practice and saved profiles across devices. Homework sent by a licensed class is available to its confirmed pupils without Family Pass. Buy a Family Pass code without signing in, then activate it with a grown-up account. Your 12 months start when you activate the code. Renew only when you choose; there is no automatic renewal.
Can we practise the spellings sent home from school?
Yes. With Family Pass, a parent can enter the words sent home and check their example sentences, even if the school uses another system. Your child then hears each word and has a go at spelling it. If a verified Spellito teacher sends homework through a licensed class, confirmed pupils can receive that work without Family Pass.
What can a parent see in Spellito?
With Family Pass, you can see each child's recent practice, accuracy and words they have found difficult. The children have separate profiles, so their results do not get mixed together. You can only see your own family's private progress.
How does a child connect to a school class?
With your consent, choose the school and registered class and request a link for your child. The teacher must confirm the request; seeing pupil progress and sending homework also require active funding for that exact class. Adding a school alone does not create a confirmed class connection. Confirmed pupils can receive licensed class homework without Family Pass.
