Back to Spellito

For children from Reception to Year 6

Hear it. Spell it. Have another go.

Pick your year, listen to one word in a full sentence and spell it at your own pace. Spellito celebrates the wins, shows mistakes clearly and brings tricky words back for another try.

What Spellito adds

Useful help, without another complicated system.

Hear every word clearly

Listen to the word and a complete sentence before spelling it with the built-in keyboard or your device keyboard.

Get useful feedback

Correct spellings move the session forward. A mistake stays visible long enough to compare before the next word.

Choose a spelling buddy

Pick Pip, Bramble or Zip, hear their voice first and keep the helper that feels right for you.

How it works

A simple practice loop children can understand.

  1. 1

    Choose a year or paper

Practise by year group, try a 20-word challenge or use officially released SATs spelling-paper words.

  2. 2

    Listen, then spell

The teacher voice reads the word and sentence. Type or tap the letters, then check the answer.

  3. 3

    Try tricky words again

Spellito keeps the session moving and shows which words deserve another go at the end.
